PlanBase Scorecard Screenshots

PlanBase Scorecard is a process management system.  Metrics measure process performance, functions group similar processes, and business units model which parts of an organization use which processes.

Process Review Screen

This screen provides a graphical view of metric performance over time, the current status of the process, and any actions being taken to improve this process.  Metrics may point out a need for improvement, but improvement plans are created to improve processes, not metrics - a subtle but important distinction.

The graphs on this screen show a rolling 15-month view that matches the other screens (with the last month unlabeled on the right-hand-side of the graph). The Improvement section at the bottom shows a rolling 12-month view including 6 months of history, the current month (shaded) and 5 months of future plans.

Business Unit Screen

Also known as a Progress Review Table, this screen shows actual vs. target summaries of all the metrics in one Business Unit at a time, broken down by function and process.  This is the primary navigation screen in the system.  A rapid scan of this screen immediately shows what is on track and what needs attention.

Function View Screen

From any Business Unit screen, click on a function name to view the corresponding Function screen thereby hiding all the other functions in that business unit.  All the links on the function view let you navigate the tree of business units for just that one function.

Responsibilities Screen

This screen provides a summary of the most important items you are working on and to be a navigational aid for accessing those items. Additional business units, functions, or processes may be shown in order to provide context for the metrics (processes, or functions) you own. Select a different user from the drop-down to view their responsibilities.
